VMware vSphere Site Recovery Manager (SRM) is a disaster recovery management product from VMware that provides automated failover and disaster recovery testing.
VMware SRM speeds disaster recovery time and can prioritize the recovery processes, specifying the order that virtual machines are restarted. VMware SRM automates the process of synchronizing recovery data between the primary and backup data center sites by using a third-part replication product or vSphere Replication to copy virtual machine data to a secondary site. VMware SRM is an add-on product and is not included as part of a vSphere edition. At least one vSphere license is required at both the protected and recovery site.
Administrators begin the disaster recovery planning process by creating recovery policies that specify how different workloads should be recovered. In the event of a problem at the primary site, or in the case of nondisruptive testing, VMware SRM automates this process to start VMs in the correct order and specify network configurations.

Hey, this is my first post on this sub. I writing this because I couldn't find anything similar.
I hope this is useful for someone else =)
Maybe, just like me, you want to play your favorite GBA games on different hardware and different emulators.
For example, I use John GBA on Android and RetroArch on Linux.
The key to keep the same game on both is to save your game using the in-game method. (like you would on a real GameBoy Advance). The majority of emulators I've tried use a 128K .sav file, but for some reason, RetroArch uses a 136K .srm file, which leads to incompatibility issues.
SOLUTION
Convert from .SAV to SRM
![Sav to srm test Sav to srm test](https://gbatemp.net/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Fi.postimg.cc%2FTw31MRnQ%2F2019032123151800-F0813053-F5-E68-D338-B07-D7-D5-A145189-E-Copy.jpg&hash=46f9b4355147332b84537c01c778b852)
Simply rename the file from file.sav to file.srm
Convert from .SRM to .SAV
You need to download gbaconv and compile it manually.
On macOS and Linux, use the following commands in a terminal.
curl -O '
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/libretro/vbam-libretro/master/src/libretro/gbaconv/gbaconv.c
'
cc -std=gnu99 -o gbaconv gbaconv.c
./gbaconv /path/to/save/file.srm
This will create a .sav file in the same folder.
If someone happens to know how to compile a C program on Windows, please let me know in the comments. I'll add the instructions.
Happy retro-gaming!
Cheers from France =)
